DANCE: Junior Y1-3 Jazz Tuesday Semester 2

TUESDAY- Y1-3 JAZZ – SEMESTER 2 ENROLMENT

Open to years 1-3, taught by Miss Aly from 7:20 – 8:05am. All classes to meet at school hall promptly at 7:20am ready for the class start time.

Classes run every Tuesday (excluding Public Holidays) throughout Term 3 and Term 4, commencing on Tuesday 8th July with the final class being held on Tuesday 3rd December.

All dance students participating in Semester 2 Dance Troupes will perform at our Dance Showcase at the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre on Tuesday 13 November with a matinee show and night show! It is definitely a performance night not to be missed!

Reminder, this cost is for the full first semester/two terms

Please note details for this class:

• Students currently enrolled at GLPS in Years 1-3 in 2024
• Students are required to wear the Grace leotard and matching leggings
• Dancers dance in tan jazz shoes which are available from our online shop
• For performances, students will perform in tan jazz shoes and tan tights to be detailed and the performance costume purchased via the online shop (black and white striped costume)
• Each dancer will be required to buy the performance costume and shoes
• Please note that we will keep the costume for the entire year, ensuring you only buy one costume if you’re dancing in this genre in both Semester 1 and 2

Although, this is the enrolment for one semester only, dancers and families are encouraged to dance for the entire year as with arts education, the consistency over an extended period is where skills, joy and confidence building comes into affect!

* This troupe is limited to 30 participants and will show up as “SOLD OUT” once it has reached capacity. It’s first in best dressed!*
