Students develop Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills as they learn to use ICT effectively and appropriately to access, create and communicate information and ideas. Students solve problems and work collaboratively in all learning areas at school, and in their lives beyond school.
Students have access to the following digital resources:
- Interactive Whiteboards
- All classrooms have access to this interactive technology.
- These boards are touch sensitive and help teachers access resources to support lessons as well as prove to be a way of involving students and engaging them in learning experiences.
- iPads
- All classes from Prep-3 have access to iPads which are provided by the school on a shared basis. From Year 4, students are expected to bring their own iPad from home to use at school. Specifications for the iPad program can be found here.
At Grace Primary, ICT transforms the ways that students think and learn and gives them greater control over how, where and when they learn.
